The research fellow will work on the Horizon 2020 project “Expanding Potential in Particle and Radiation Detectors, Sensors and Electronics in Croatia (PaRaDeSEC)” at the Ruđer Bošković Institute (RBI) in Zagreb, Croatia. The objective of EU funded project is to establish a research group and facility focused of semiconductor detectors, associated read-out electronics and data acquisition (DAQ). Currently four senior scientists are employed by the project. Duration of the project is from July 2015 to July 2020.

The Ruđer Bošković Institute joined 21st November 2016 in CERN RD50 “Radiation hard semiconductor devices for very high luminosity colliders” research and development collaboration.

The Horizon 2020 ERA Chair project „Expanding Potential in Particle and Radiation Detectors, Sensors and Electronics in Croatia“ is a 5-year project that started on July 1st 2015. The project provides funding for salaries of four research fellows, members of the team led by the appointed ERA Chair.

The ERA Chair of the project has been selected after extensive review of the applications received after the open call for the position.
