RBI joined CERN RD50 collaboration

November 30, 2016.

The Ruđer Bošković Institute joined 21st November 2016 in CERN RD50 “Radiation hard semiconductor devices for very high luminosity colliders” research and development collaboration.

The CERN RD50 Collaboration gathering in workshop June 2009 in Freiburg, Germany

RD50 has about 250 members from about 50 institutions.

Being relatively large collaboration, RD50 brings together practically all leading researchers in field of radiation hard detector development and science.

ERA Chair - project leader Dr. Härkönen has been member of RD50 since its establishment in 2001.
